The rossonero Museum of Casa Milan presents an extraordinary exhibition dedicated to the World Cup. Entering at Mondo Milan in fact, from 15 June to 31 October, besides admiring the trophies and the many memorabilia present in the rooms, it will be possible to visit the temporary exhibition “La Fabbrica delle Coppe – The Cup Factory”. An exhibition which recounts the development of the most sought-after trophy, the Fifa World Cup, inside a special set-up by Studio Novembre. This project arises from the will of the Club to open the doors to culture, through exhibitions dedicated to art and sport, as also Casa Milan Gallery underlines, the new exposition area inaugurated a few weeks ago in the heart of the rossonero headquarter.

The forging of the World Cup born in 1971 will be narrated, together with the Uefa Cup of 1972 and the Uefa Super Cup of 1986.

These cups are a manifestation of a real and genuine Italian excellence: the realization of the cups is done by the company GDE Bertoni, which is situated a few kilometers from Milan, at Paderno Dugnano, designed by the sculptor Silvio Gazzaniga

For the first time the samples of the originals, the models in wax and chalk, the stamps and the machines with which these trophies were produced will be exposed.

Also the last Italian triumph will be exposed, the World Cup, won by the Italian National team the magic night of the 9 July 2006 at Berlin.

These are the words of Barbra Berlusconi, Milan Vice President and CEO: “I strongly wanted this exposition, because it highlights the Italian excellence of stories like those of Silvio Gazzaniga. Men who have transformed the work of artisan  into true art. Human and professional events which are not widely know and are therefore our moral duty to tell and to make known also to the new generations.”

The exhibition is realized with the support of the Premium Partner Mediaset Premium, with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Milan and in collaboration with adidas Archive.
