This morning at CasaMilan a hundred people, including professionals and students of Liceo Guastalla in Monza, have joined the conference "The Men Factory: the Human Capital." During the initiative has been told and deepen the work of the Rossoneri Youth Sector, through the words of Filippo Galli, David Calabria, Bolis Antonelli and Riccardo Leoni.

The event was included in the large program made by Museimpresa - of which the Rossoneri Mondo Milan Museum is part since last February - on the occasion of the XV promoted by Confindustria.

The conference was opened by a video that has shown shortly to the audience the places of the Youth Sector activities: the Vismara sports center, which hosts training and home games, and the boarding, where boys from outside regions between 14 and 18 years live.

After the video, Filippo Galli - Head of racing of the Youth Sector - and Antonello Bolis - Professor of the School of Rossoneri Education and Educator - have come to the heart of the topic: the Milan Model, that is a path that involves the boys , coaches, technicians and all the figures involved in the players' growth. Filippo Galli has, in fact, emphasized that during the week there are continuous opportunities for training with the coaches. It is needed that the adult figures are always updated to bring their skills to the highest levels. The AC Milan Youth Sector was created with the aim of training players who, through a growing path in athletics performance and technique, can one day join the first team.

Besides this kind of athletic and technical training, since six years the activity of the psycho-pedagogical team has been flanked, which interacts daily with all the staff and teams of the Youth Sector. Antonello Bolis this morning talked about the commitment, both on the field and within the boarding school, of 13 tutors in a phase in which children face great sacrifices to chase their dream but also an important period of personal growth .

There were then the direct testimony of those who, after the whole procedure in the AC Milan Youth Sector, have arrived in the first team like David Calabria and who, instead, has embarked on another career path like Riccardo Leoni.

Riccardo Leoni, now 26 years old, played with the Rossoneri until the Berretti and today, after graduating in Sports Science, he works for a major company of sports equipment for rehabilitation and fitness, continuing to follow the passion for football as amateur player and as manager.

David Calabria, at AC Milan since 2006, is today a defender of the first team. A goal achieved with determination and also with some difficulties of adaptation during the transition from the country of origin to the boarding school. Difficulties overcome thanks to the Club and to all the people and team of the Youth Sector.

Two different paths, those of Lions and Calabria, but united by a great passion, spirit of sacrifice and the courage to pursue their dreams.
