Kilpin hologram and San Siro bench enter Museo Mondo Milan

Two new attractions for the museum at Casa Milan

NEWS 20 Dec, 2019

Museo Mondo Milan is open daily from 10:00 to 19:00

To mark 120 years of Club history, the museum at Casa Milan will feature two new attractions. One is a special space dedicated to Herbert Kilpin, the historic founder of Milan Football and Cricket Club in 1899. Kilpin himself will tell his story in hologram form and that of the Club from foundation to the present day. Visitors will be led through trivia, anecdotes and memories which took Milan from its origins at the Fiaschetteria Toscana on Via Berchet to the top of the world.

Furthermore, the bench from San Siro is also moving into Museo Mondo Milan. It’s been an object that has seen wild celebrations and tears, covering the entire emotional spectrum. It’s been the place that has built and consolidated the team’s spirit, where strategies have been developed and it’s seen the fans’ passion and support from a unique perspective. The current bench was built in 2015 as part of the reconstruction project to obtain UEFA’s Elite stadium licence and it was first used on 13 September 2015 for the derby against Inter. It has room for 20 people to sit on it and features some sophisticated technology. The bench currently lies towards the Curva Sud and the heart of the AC Milan support.
