Casa Milan opens its doors to contemporary arts: a new art gallery was launched yesterday inside the red&black headquarter, at the presence of managing director Barbara Berlusconi and the midfielder Andrea Poli.

The personal exhibition by the artist “No Curves” - pseudonymous of one of the most famous representative of the tape-art, curated by the Avantgarden Gallery artistic director, Manfredi Brunelli Bonetti - opens the new exhibition space.

No Curves creates his artworks with a very unusual material: tape. Thanks to this material he is able to give us back his vision of the world with tape and scissors. His works, inspired by constructivist and kinetic art, are characterized by geometric cuts and broken lines without curves and with colored and straight lines that end into perfect joints. The artist, who had to chance to personally introduce the concept of his art pieces yesterday, created a series of works in red&black dedicated to AC Milan, portraying both past champions of the past such as the legendary skipper Franco Baresi and today’s players by exploring the themes of energy and dynamism.

Barbara Berlusconi, who strongly promoted this cultural activity, said: "Since the opening of Casa Milan we have been focusing on a space showing contents inspired by the AC Milan’s principles and brand, dedicated to the youngsters and to all the people who live in this area. This Gallery represents, one year after the opening of Casa Milan, a tangible step forward: an area dedicated to art - opened for free everyday – where 4 artists of the national and international Street Art panorama will exhibit  this first year. Street Art is important to remember us the emotion of an authentic soccer, the one born in the streets, when two kids play only with the scope to play and to score a goal”

The No Curves exhibition at the Casa Milan Gallery is open everyday, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, until August 30th, 2015. For any question please write an email to mondomilan@acmilan.it or call the number +39 02 62285604.
